FLARE Offers Condolences to former First Lady Michelle Obama and the Obama and Robinson families on the death of Mrs. Obama's mother, Marian Robinson

The First Ladies Association for Research and Education, FLARE, would like to offer our condolences to former First Lady Michelle Obama and the Obama and Robinson families on the death of Mrs. Obama's mother, Marian Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was a key supporter of her daughter as first lady. Having stressed the importance of education to her children she served as the role model for her daughter as Mrs. Obama championed education issues in the U.S. and the world.
