Jeanne Ryan Wolfson is an author and Washington, DC-based communication strategist specializing in public relations and marketing communications. She primarily writes children’s picture books, both fiction and nonfiction, including two nonfiction picture books on first ladies, to be published in winter 2028. She makes her scholarly book debut in 2027 as a contributing author in First Lady Autobiography: Rhetorical Voices Beyond the White House, to be published by University Press of Kansas. She has also published articles in East Wing Magazine and FLARE Focus.
Ms. Wolfson is currently serving her second term as a FLARE board member. She is an Inaugural Lifetime Individual Member of FLARE, and she is a founding member of East Wing Magazine, the first journalistic-driven publication dedicated to covering presidential first ladies. She holds a B.A. in journalism and an M.A. in strategic communication from American University.
