Unsung and Unstoppable: The First Ladies and the Facts You Never Knew

Unsung and UnstoppableVIRTUAL: Join the First Ladies Association for Research and Education (FLARE), and the National First Ladies Library and Museum (NFLLM) on April 22 at 7:00 pm ET for a special FREE virtual program in honor of National First Ladies Day, which is April 26. 

The program is titled “Unsung & Unstoppable: The First Ladies and Facts You Never Knew,” featuring Diana Carlin, Anita McBride and Nancy Kegan Smith, founders of FLARE. The panel will be moderated by Patty Dowd Schmitz, President & CEO of NFLLM. The program will feature little known facts about our nation’s first ladies, including surprising stories about these important women that have been underreported in our collective history.  Some of the first ladies discussed will include Louisa Adams, Mary Lincoln, Edith Roosevelt, Mamie Eisenhower, Jacqueline Kennedy, Pat Nixon, and Laura Bush. This will be a fun and enlightening program and we hope you can join us.
